We hear the same stuff every spring year after year.
But it is different this time.

Yeah. Burrow said they weren't eager to show much until necessary. May have to wait for Texas to see a lot of it.

We don't have to see a lot of it to see if it's good or not, especially if the defense is reportedly having difficulty with it.

And if he said we were behind schedule on offense you would complain too. Nothing new here.

Burrow really saved our arse more than he’s given credit for. Finally we are able to start upper classmen at qb and allowing time for the guys behind him to develop for the foreseeable future. Starting guys that aren’t ready has been our Achilles heel for too long. He deserves to have a great season.

We’ve had an incredible springtime passing offense for like 15 years now.

This right here. LSU is sitting good right now and I don't understand why people can't see it.

Could you elaborate on Brady's history? I don't know much about his offense.

I wasn't speaking specifically to Brady. I don't have a problem with that hire at all. Why would anybody?

What I was referencing was the consistent yearly circle jerk from people inside the program and their complicit media hanger-oners who pump the offense and try to wow us with flowery language about this new dynamic offense that never pans out when the season rolls around.

This is been going on for over 10 years.

Honestly, who knows? This could actually end up being the year. It's just we've been burned so many times you can't fault us for, "I'll believe it when I see it".

Why do you have such an issue with people not seeing things exactly the way you see them, especially since you were WAY off last season?

Either way, you'll either be proven right or wrong. Time will tell. Why are you angry that people want to wait to see it? You do know that we fans don't have any effect on if it will happen or not, right?

Nothing wrong with waiting and seeing. But incessantly contending that every positive comment about the 2019 Tigers team is foolish on its face, is beyond tiresome.

We believe the words of Joe Burrow, Rohan Davey, and Coach Orgeron far more than we believe a dozen random posters who are obsessed with throwing piss balloons at Orgeron's program.

Do we have a quick short passing game?
I actually have faith in our passing game for the first time in years. I've been going crazy for LSU to hire someone from the Saints to learn how to do it correctly. Brady is for real. Sean Payton doesn't just vouch for anyone.

Brady also got high praise from Joe Moorhead (his boss at Penn State). Moorhead is widely known as an expert in the RPO offense.

Ahhhh. The old “secret playbook” adage that never sees the light of day. I reckon when the season starts, we’ll be served a healing helping of power I toss dives and bubble screens.

Really? So Orgeron is going to risk his $4,000,000/yr gig just for shits and giggles?

O has his mandate - install a solid passing offense. And he knows his bosses ain't jokin'.

You think O is intimidated by Alleva or must do something to please him?

Alleva is in a huge mess as it is with the whole Wade thing.

So he's intimidated, you insinuated that with the 'his bosses ain't joking' thing, he's intimidated or wants to do no wrong to please a guy that rushed to suspend the head basketball coach for no reason. Alleva has created a huge mess for himself.
He's not "intimidated". He's keeping it real.

And Alleva is his immediate supervisor. Sure. But his bosses are the big-money boosters. It is the same at EVERY major program. Are you THAT naive?

And I'm not talking about the boosters who donate 5 or 10 thousand. I'm talking about the guys donating 5 or 10 million+ to university projects and the athletic departments at every major program in the USA.

What until the stud running backs get here. We’ll really be hard to defend. Lord please let this be true iron strarpens iron. Which is good for both sides the ball!

You just said his bosses aint joking. I'd say that means he's intimidated. Or you think he is.

I'm just trying to decipher what you're getting at with your post. It's not a personal thing so back off with the attitude.

My point is that Alleva has enough issues thanks to his bonehead decisions regarding Wade that he has to deal with that, for the most part, and hopefully he leaves the university.

What O does is sort of put on the back burner. I understand there are other members that O is in contact with to keep the football program respectable.

That's what I was getting at.
