Given we've heard this some canned spring practice remark of, 'the offense is really coming together', etc etc.

What do y'all expect?

'We suck on offense'?

That would be a real morale booster.

The offensive line will get help from Brady implementing more short timing routes but there will still be games where we don’t want to get into a shootout offensively and the line will have to prove they can still be a classic LSU ground and pound team.
Fair point.

Coach O has singled out O-Line analyst Mark Hutson as already being a difference maker for the O-Line this Spring. Hutson started 36 straight games at Left tackle for Barry Switzer at Oklahoma. He had 6 years coaching in the NFL. And 20+ in college - including a interim HC gig at Tulane. At OK, he was the LT on the team that AVERAGED 499 yards rushing per game. I'm thinking the guy has some hands-on experience on how the blocking for the running game can be improved.

I was afraid that this would happen. It was only a matter of time before Steve broke out and the defense wouldn't be able to contain him. When you have a rare talent like Steve it eventually shines through.

That's the great thing about all of this. We will get to see where things are very shortly in the Spring game.

Are all the receivers you said were terrible suddenly good?

Orgeron had clearly lost control of Miles' passing offense for most of the last decade.

How is the offensive line play expected to be this upcoming season

A lot better than 2018.

Im buying into the hype this year. I know we’ve heard it over and over but we finally have a returning qb that will be really good. Haven’t had it since Met, and haven’t had it paired with a defense since Flynn.

keep your facts straight. I said they were inexperienced and grossly unprepared for most of the '18 season. They improved substantially in the last 4 games.

I wouldn't read too much into the spring game. I'm planning on going myself.

Yeah. Burrow said they weren't eager to show much until necessary. May have to wait for Texas to see a lot of it.

When you factor running/throwing yards, total TDs and ball security Burrow had the most productive season since Jamarcus Russell in 2006.

In related news, the LSU coaches are installing red zone plays with Russell Shepard at QB that will be impossible to stop once the season starts.

Keiland Williams' calves will be included as a run/pass threat
