Officials are totally at fault. They let it get out of hand. They should be suspended as well.

They were probably told to let this one go. Again, the NFL likes this type of attention.

This shite is so fricking hilarious. Just because you are a fan of LSU....and just because he went to LSU...it doesn't mean he can do no wrong.

He was a straight up punk arse butthurt bitch. He's used to having his way, but he ran into a talented CB who was controlling his game and his mind. His reaction to it all will change the perception of him in a lot of people's mind's...including mine.

Beckham was pissed cause he missed that wide open pass for a TD, then Norman shut him down the first half.
Then Beckham turned into a Bitch.
How about be the bigger man and just walk away and let Norman get what would have eventually come to him, but no he decides to be just as big of a punk as Norman.
Was Norman wrong yes
Was Odell wrong yes
But the cheap ear-hole shot was uncalled for and could have possibly ended the man day, month or possibly career.

OBJ has been acting like an arsehole since entering the league. His great catch boosted his ego beyond control. He needs to tone it down before he has a bounty placed on his head. The Buffalo Bills didn't have nice things to say about him either.

I think part of it is because opposing defense have been taking shots at him. With his size defenses are trying to intimidate him...you wouldn't see db's doing that to Megatron or Julio because they are much bigger.

Odell was out of line. That is obvious. However, from what I understand this all started pre game with Norman and Finnegan crossing the line with the trash talk directed towards Beckham. They apparently said things that would cause most of us to want to fight the other guy.

Really wouldn't give a shite. Way too many people are overrating to this situation (Which is what the NFL/ESPN want) .

The shot to the head could have ended the guys career. The nfl doesn't want that

i saw the play, during the game there was another angle, Beckham puts his hands near his throat and up under Norman's helmet

No offense, but if you are going to take the position that on that play Beckham was at fault, I pretty much have to dismiss your entire argument. That's clear as day.

A logical criticism of Beckham is that he lost it after that play and went way too far. That's reasonable. And, even the OP explicitly said that. The OP is way more right on this subject than you are.

I love how shocked people are that football players can be mean to each other and do little bitch cheap shots all game long.

Who cares? I actually PREFER that football players dislike each other, and show it. At least the would be honest.

I couldn't care less who shoved who, when and where, or who started it.

If this was high school or college ball, I would care about personal fouls and bad sportsmanship. But the NFL? It's so degenerate that bad sportsmanship is unremarkable and good sportsmanship is practically non-existent.

They play for money, and the whole league has an attitude problem, and it all starts at the top. NFL owners rape taxpayers for stadium deals, the NFL commissioner covers up scandal for certain teams but not others, NFL head coaches cheat (videotaping opponent's signals, bountygate, deflategate), players cheat (PEDs), even the gambling houses cheat (Draft Kings, FanDuel). EVERYONE associated with the NFL, it seems, is a little bitch.

So when a WR and DB, two positions which by nature are little bitches, act like little bitches... why does anyone care? Who's going to teach the unteachable to act right? The cheating coaches, the incompetent referees, the cheating owners, or the cheating commissioner?

It's was great tv until beckham launched into Norman. That wasn't a "bitch cheap shot". That was malicious & criminal considering Norman's position.

You think people care that they hate each other? I don't. There is a clear line that was crossed that goes past football

That being said, Norman started it and was no innocent by-stander.

Norman took cheap shots, including a totally uncalled for body slam away from and after the play right in front of a ref that should have gotten Norman ejected.

Basically what I argued yesterday. ODB was being a pussy, but Norman was too. I felt like the broadcasters were giving Norman a pass and that influenced the viewer.

I was waiting for odell to get flagged after he scored that last touchdown when looked down and walked over Norman as he tried to get up. Its almost like the ref held his flag just because the penalty would have probably decided the game.
