Thought it'd put me in a good mood reading about all the Jarvis/OBJ excitement. Took about 2 minutes to be reminded of what a cluster F it was and how much talent was squandered while they were here. Talk about your all-time backfires...

LINK

''Beckham and Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry were teammates at LSU from 2011-13. When the duo were juniors in 2013, they combined for 2,345 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. Somehow the Tigers only finished 14th in the final Associated Press poll."

John Chavis was not good at defense that year.

Also, the Odell fumble against UGA and Mett's 3 picks at Ole Miss.

If you put that offense with any of Aranda’s defenses we likely don’t lose

They understand that there is more that goes into winning football games than having two great receivers, right? Still salty about 2007 IMO.

Isn't it fricked up how that works? 2011 we had like the #2 defense in the country with a decent offense (Natty runner up), 2012 top 10 defense with a average offense (top bowl game), 2013 amazing offense, with one of the worst defenses in the SEC and probably the worst defense at LSU in 10+ years...

yeah we completely flip flopped from defense to offense in those 2 years. was pretty frustrating we could field the complete team

Right but we also had a 1k rusher in Hill.

Wasted a tremendous opportunity that season. The one great offense and the defense was sort of bad. Welter should have never started.

Go read that roster and you will vomit in your mouth. Loaded with NFL talent on both sides.

Getting owned on the recruiting trail for D line talent showed its ugly head that year.

Beckwith, Kwon... 3 guys capable and we toss a MAC backup level player out there every game.

Wasn't bad offense at all in 2013. First time in SEC history a team had 2- 1000 yard receivers in OBJ and JL and a 1000 yard rusher in JH and a 3000yd passer. jUst so happened the defense sucked balls that year.

absolutely win the UGA game if defense shows up for just a couple of possessions.

shite happens. That was one of those years when we had it all but turnovers killed us.

Two of our losses were by a total of 6 points. Those games could have gone either way

I can guarantee the 2013 team will be revived through the media in 2019. Get ready for it
