He's going off half cocked and putting the tradition of having Mike on campus at risk. Yes there is a law allowing colleges to have big cats, but there is still a lot of administrivia to deal with.

Indeed, logic would dictate this thought process, but logic seems to be shockingly easily sidestepped by government officials these days. Landy himself seems to be devoid of logic so far.

All this is is him grand standing. First he tried to make a thing with the LSU women's basketball team and the national anthem, then it was the football team, then it was bringing Mike back in the stadium. They were all Ls for him so he decides on the biggest game of the year he is going to grand stand and bring some tiger that's probably owned by some Tiger King type to bring in the stadium.
There will be people who will love it just because of his party, but it is possible for elected officials of both parties to be idiots and Jeff Landry is one. He used to be a police right? I am not anti police, but I am not 100% "back the blue", obviously there are great police and there are bad police.. But I have a feeling Landry was one of those smug cocky police. Head strong. He lacks emotional intelligence.
