No, but another bag being in the way absolutely restricted him from reaching his hand to the actual base. I'm fine with the out I just don't like the rule, even though it's going to be a rare occurrence.

Don't know why college baseball had to overthink this. Just go to the bigger bases like MLB did and this isn't an issue. 2 bases is some Bush league stuff.
