I seem to recall two goal line stands in that game.

Texas also had the 15th-ish ranked offense or something along those lines

I loved Aranda but our 2019 defense sucked until the last 3-4 games...he wanted to be a HC that is why he left. He isn't looking good at BU. His defense allowed 20 to a D2 program and only won by 7

When our defense practices against our current offense, it isn’t much practice for other teams like UCLA and all the rest to come.

We ended up winning by a TD.

Convenient you're ignoring the last few games of 2019.

It is no coincidence what the LSU defense has become since he left. Eddie doesn't know football...at all.

When your offense scores every 2 minutes you will necessarily allow more yards on defense.

Hush...it was Aranda that win us the championship. Lol. This guy is a paid troll.

60% Brady
40% Aranda
0% Orgeron

70% Burrow
20% Brady
10% Aranda

Aranda was good. But a lot of those games were track meets, and if it weren't for the offense dropping 50+, there is no NCG.

2020 - 99th ranked defense in the nation (Bo Pelini)

Looks like we quite possibly got a another Pelini as the new DC right now!

"Black Bo" might turn out to be just as bad. But why not, "BB" has no experience as a Defensive Coordinator making calls and adjustments; 10 years ago at Bowie State don't count. (BB is his new nickname and what I'll be calling Daronte Jones from now until the season is finally concluded or the Defense shows massive improvement)

I'm waiting to see what transpires in the SEC, but am not encouraged by what went down last Saturday night.

SOS. Clueless LB's and DB's again with no DC adjustments.

How the freaking frick do you hire TWO Coordinators without any experience in those positions to come in and compete in the SEC West? It's maddening.

Offenses also got better.

Remember 2016 alabama 9offense to what they are running now.

I'm too lazy and busy to look it up but it seems like in today's SEC, any team could drop 35 points at any time. That wasn't the case even 5 to 10 years ago when only 2 or 3 could do that.

and I said at the time, Aranda should be given the HC job at LSU, because LSU could not afford to lose him. He is simply one of the very best at his job in football. If we could have kept Brady by paying him an outrageous amount of money to be co HC with Aranda, I think we would be challenging Bama again every year. That is now just a pipedream and something I doubt I will live long enough to enjoy. Not signing Aranda to whatever he wanted, is costing LSU millions and millions of $$ in buyouts trying to find someone comparable at DC and HC...and we may never do it. LSU is just inept in many many ways.
