Daryl Edwards is out tomorrow. Everyone else available, per Wade.

Wade on NET rankings: I like them. We’re the second highest ranked three loss team right now which shows our schedule was done right. We close out the non conference strong, we’re in very good shape.

Talks about Furman's Jordan Lyons who hit 15 3-pointers in a game, other great information and the newest edition of "Bootup".

Sucks not to have Edwards for a matchup like this.

I'm not sure why he is out. If he is injured, then I hope he heals up. However, I don't like his game much so may be a net positive for this team.

Been rumored he has has a lingering injury issue that continues to plague him. Remember he missed 2 games recently.

Unfortunate, this team looked so deep coming into this year, then the Wayde Sims tragedy happened, Danya Kingsby has something going with him and is being redshirted, 2 other players are being redshirted, now Edwards has been battling something and it's making him miss time. We're down to 8 guys now basically. If we have a guard get into foul trouble, enter Marshall Graves basically.

Edwards being out is far from a positive for this team. He may be the last guy in the rotation, but consider the next guy up is a walk on.

If he could just teach his guys how to rebound he wouldn't have to make statements like that

He frustrates me when we're on offense, but he frustrates the other team more when they're on offense.

Yeah, this is why trying to tell anybody that has not followed the rise of the program that even with some NBA caliber talent the rebuild is still a year away from having quality, SEC/inury proof depth. tbird you hit the nail on the head, Wayde would do a lot for this team this year, but even tragedy aside with this bridge year in recruiting year 4 will be a lot of fun. Final Four quality talent and depth in 2020-2021, with the 2020 recruiting class which is loaded, and we have 3-4 Top-50 prospects lined up. I think this team barely makes it into the tourney and I think the main reason being they have not played their best basketball yet.

Agreed. Sorta reminds me of Bruce Bowen in that regard.

Yes that’s always a positive when one of your players is hurt.

Edwards is a catch-and-shoot guy. Unfortunately, that doesn't really work in this offense. LSU doesn't have a ton of off the ball movement, nor are they a team that really works the ball around. Pretty much the entirety of their offense is ball screens and guys trying to create on their own. Edwards isn't really that kind of player. The only time he gets good looks is in transition.

If LSU would work it inside-out more then he would probably get more looks. But KBW doesn't have a good offensive skill set (like Reath did) and Reid doesn't want to play in the post. Edwards had kind of been the odd man out.

He seems to get two traveling calls every game in unpressured spots. Needs to work on his footwork.
