Tom Walter, Head Coach at Wake Forest. Not a great baseball record there, but did do well when he was the HC at UNO and has been to the NCAA regionals several times. Is a really good coach. He has a ton of ties to Louisiana and the south in general.

Probably won't happen but I wouldn't be surprised if his name popped up.

That just doesn't fit anything about what Woodward looks for in head coaches throughout his several stops as AD.

As he made it to a super regional ? If so that’s good enough

Imagine what he could do with LSU’s resources

I know it's unpopular, but I'm saying Drew Bianco has a real shot at the position.

David Miller from LaSalle. Led program to most wins ever with a club that was being cut from athletics. Got swept in last series to lose out going to Atlantic 10 tourney. He coached me at U of Hawaii-Hilo years ago. Good dude!

No.... just.... No! This would be like Alabama hiring Skip Holtz as their Head football ball coach when Saban retires. Sure skip is a good ball coach , but he ain't great.

Don't you mean Mike Bianco? Drew is a Jr. at LSU.

I do not think there is one person on TD that takes you seriously.

He got UNO to the regionals in 2007/2008, post Katrina and when it was looking like UNO might shut down athletics and/or move down to Division II or III.

He left to go the ACC because it's a better league and because UNO athletics was a dumpster fire.

He's had two good seasons out of a dozen at Wake.

I don't know Wake's commitment to baseball.
