For players to have that attitude against ANY opponent, much less a highly ranked one, falls ?? squarely on the coaches. Any decent coach, at any level knows that’s the recipe for failure. Failure of fundamental leadership. Unacceptable

Their cockiness got the best of them and as a result, so did FSU.
CBK was playing with house money last year making it to ATL. But I imagine the goodwill that bought him with the fanbase was all but cashed in last night.
That was a disaster and his “this team isn’t who I thought they were” comment isn’t going to help his situation, either.

Why did he interpret Kelly’s comments to mean that Fl State is not a good team?
I mean, I heard Kelly and I took it to mean that LSU was very well prepared and talented.

I can't blame Daniels actually. I think many LSU fans believe this also. The problem is that we didn't realize that our secondary is shite, handling of Perkins on defense was criminal, and the calls on those 2 4th down plays reminded me of Les Miles.

After winning national titles, Saban and Kirby get every single one of their players to feel like they’re being disrespected before every game, no matter who they play when NOBODY in the media or otherwise is actually disrespecting them.
Our players on the other hand haven’t won shite, ended up in the SEC championship, because let’s be real about this, the west had a down year, and players come out thinking they’re going to blow out the #8 team in the country, in their home state, who beat us last year in our home state? That’s on coaching right there. I don’t see how anyone can think differently on that note.
