Half field reads versus full field reads, RPO's, pre snap coverage reads...ASU vs. LSU nomenclature, FSU pre snap coverage movements, stemming on the d-line...all of these are different for him...He had 3 years at ASU and something else to consider is what system did Daniels run in HS? Familiar versus the unfamiliar...He'll learn...

Thankfully we aren't constrained by time or resources as fans and can look at multiple things in parallel

Thankfully we have the all time winningest college football coach to make the decisions.

I'm sure there's still an adjustment to be made with moving to a new team and a new offensive scheme.

Some people are going to hate on Daniels no matter what he does. They can’t even keep up with their own false narratives. “He’s not accurate” was the favorite.

I want the kid to do well. The "deal with it" stuff is silly. I'm just a fan talking about QB play. For all we know, Nuss could be Baker Mayfield. He could also suck. He certainly flashed last year and also struggled at points.

That all said, to point to Daniels' completion percentage alone to judge accuracy is retarded. He's not throwing into tight windows, throwing players open, throwing across the middle of the field, or even throwing it away when he can take off. He was reminiscent of Max Johnson with his lack of decisiveness and staring down receivers, coupled with an elite ability to take off and run.

As I said before, Denbrock may simply suck at installing his offense and putting his QBs in a position to succeed quickly. Lot of unknowns at this point.

This board is way too critical on a guy who's the only reason you were in position to win that game. At least wait for a game for him to shite the bed to criticize him as a problem.

Jayden had some really nice moments and he also had some clunkers. Not sure why anyone would have expected any different.

I personally wanted Brennan just because he’s the local guy but I completely understand why they went with Jayden and I think he’s got a chance to have a nice year if the team coalesces around him.

I never pointed to his completion percentage. I have just observed that the Daniels hate has shifted from “he’s not accurate” to “he can’t read defenses.” It will always be something.

The thing I loved about Jayden is he didn’t get rattled even through he was running for his life the whole night. Cool customer.

It's not hate baw. He's a college athlete that seems to be a great kid.

As the OP mentioned, Kelly pointed out something that some people noticed from the game, that he missed some key reads. Hopefully he gets it corrected and hopefully Denbrock sets him up for success.

I didn’t say you were hating on him. But some definitely are, and for those there will be nothing he can do that will be good enough. But yea hopefully they can scheme better. Hoping that Daniels improves drastically at this point in his career is not likely.

Yes, as fans we can look at anything we want.

Imagine if Boutte lived up to his billing, at least catches the 2 TDs he missed. Imagine the special teams is just boringly average, we get kicks off and field punts.

We then win the game, with concerns about getting the defense up to speed, but would be excited as hell about our dynamic QB + WR group. Hoping Emery adds additional spark on the ground (and swing passes). Ready to get in shootouts.

Emery hasn’t played a real game in eons, going to take at least a few games to get him going.

I love it. Providing evidence to show the offense and Daniels weren’t as bad as some of you haters are saying makes us fanboys. Some of y’all are delusional.

1. Threads like these are always a response to people arguing the opposite. They're never unprovoked.

2. He isn't.

but he missed a dozen quck-read passes that would've been complete regardless of poor blocking, including probably 3 touchdowns.

You are so full of shite. Multiple people broke down the film and all would say your take here is incorrect.

He missed 3 td’s? When the frick was this? They only punted twice, and the other times they got close and didn’t get td’s weren’t on him. According to you he should’ve and could’ve had td’s on every drive, but didn’t, so frick him.
