45 attempts and 5 more sacks is even worse. 50 pass plays 300 yards, not good.

And include the drops that are consistent from this WR staff and the complete protection breakdowns of the OL in many instances. Cuts both ways.

Which drops are you talking about? The early shitty throw behind Boutte that was above his back shoulder? Thats not a drop, its a bad throw.

The throw to Jenkins at the end of the second half that was tipped? Thats also not a drop.

I didnt see any drops today that werent either deflected/tipped or just point blank bad throws.

The throw to Jenkins is classic Daniels not seeing the field. If he puts air under it and leads him left continuing on the post nobody’s around him. Instead he drills a liner into a congested area but because it touched Jenkins the JD pumpers call it a drop.

The int was a jump ball...we have to win jump balls downfield.

Stats are misleading. He never did anything to keep lsu in the game. He’s a game manager on a team that isn’t good enough to win with a game manager.

The problem is Daniels can't stretch the field so defenses collapse down which takes away running lanes and makes YAC more difficult. The short passing game only works if you can move and get consistent scoring opportunities. Too many plays with sacks, missed open WRs and short runs to end drives.

If you want the short passing game to work you have to spread and do quick passes and then receivers can get yardage in space. It also requires a QB that can make pre-snap reads and find the hot route. Daniels can't read defenses well, but I still think this is our best option.

Daniel’s was not protected very well but his play was less than what was necessary to win. He didn’t scramble very well and he still can not hit the deep ball to save his life. I wish the coach had put Nuss in there to at least give him more than mop up duty. Special teams absolutely killed us today. Boy ST let out the air out of our tires today. I not so sure that I would relieve the ST coach of his duty and put someone else over that important part of our team. If you loss on ST and on either offense or defense then you will certainly lose the game. That is what happened today and it could have been much, much worst.

With the offensive line we have and lack of a running game, this is what you get. You could start Nussmeier or Howard the result today would be similar....maybe worse because at least Daniels has to be respected for his running .

He didn’t make the throws that counted. 13 points against a mediocre defense

LOL we wont win another game in the SEC with Daniels at QB. We may not win another with Nuss. Its time to sit Daniels arse on the bench and see what we have with Nuss.

Take away the short behind the line passes and the passes where the receiver has stopped and waiting for the pass and you have him throwing maybe one decent timing pass the entire game, and that was probably a fluke. The guy is not a QB. What bothers me is how bad Nuss must be to be behind Daniels. Either that or the coaches know not what they do.

Like J Winston, he is not a championship type QB or leader. Stop wasting time and let the young QBs develop and get playing time.
