If he does improve and becomes even a moderately effective passer, it will make the team a lot better, and it will really be a testament to the coaching staff. To take a guy who's been playing college football for three years and coach him up would be incredible.

Why do you hate white people? Just curious. I don’t know if you’re white or black, but if there is ever an opportunity to pick a side , you pick that side every time, without fail.

How is myles a quitter and Jayden isn’t? Jayden transferred out of a bad situation and I’m glad he’s here. Myles wasn’t going to be on the field much, if at all , this year. Why should he just ride the bench after he’s been here forever and battled injuries. Dudes never been anything but a humble teammate . Always did what was asked. He had bad luck let it go.

When he did play , he could sling it ,but he wasn’t that guy since that last Missouri start of his career.

The hate for jd is just way too much. I know you agree with that, but why put down myles to put up Jayden

These girls need to relax and untwist their panties.

It’s year 1. New players, young players, first year players, new staff and new system. Let the team get better.

Nice critique from middle school football heroes.

Let’s be honest.

These numbers in a vacuum look good. But anyone who watches the game knows he only is throwing it when he sees a WR clearly open already.

That’s not what you want. You want your QB anticipating WRs being open and pushing the envelope a bit.

Daniels needs to keep improving. I’ve heard people complaining about his accuracy. That doesn’t bother me at all. I can live with inaccurate if he’s getting the ball out of his hand on time frequently.

First off, I'm glad we have him. No doubt and I believe he will get better as the OL gels, and he trusts himself more and more.

But to be great, he has to be able to see the whole field at all times. And as someone else mentioned, he has to be able to throw open his receivers. He has a VERY gifted WR corps and this should be easy as they can get enough separation quickly.

Yes. Correct. I failed to account for Nuss's passes. Hopefully JD can begin to see what is happening on the defense.

That's because he's a run first qb. Those numbers are skewed.

You must be in middle school then because you don't have to go far back to recall Anthony Jennings who had a 48% completion percentage while at LSU.

They’re not useless if you’re not exaggerating them to inflate an agenda like the OP and dick pumpers are. Comp % is fine but where are those completions happening? They’re almost all under 5 yards and outside the numbers. What’s his completion rate past 10 yards? What is it vs blitz, what is it in the middle of the field, what is it past 15 yards, what is in on 3rd down? I seem to recall us being 1-10 on 3rd down at 1 point which was a huge talking point a year or two ago but wasn’t uttered by these same people 1 time Saturday.

High life and Damone are two of the biggest dumb fricks to ever exist. They have no idea what they’re talking about.

Like someone said, it’s not always a tell all indicator of how accurate a QB is. The thing that most have complaints about most is his lack of vision, ability to read pre and post snap what the defense is aligned in and then knows what route will be open and just the ability to pull the trigger on a guy he sees coming open.
He’s doing good, there’s just room for improvement. I think anyone who can’t see that, isn’t truly paying attention nor being honest and it will need to happen to beat the better teams that scheme defensively to take away the short and intermediate routes and yet try hard to limit his running lanes ( a very disciplined pass rush or blitz ).

The accuracy isn't the issue. He's only throwing to guys who are wiiiiiiiiiiiiide open.

And this is with some of the best wide receiver talent you can accumulate at the college level.

I was just getting ready to ask how many yards has he thrown for, I knew it wasn't much. What is his average passing yards a game so for??

Ohh ok so Jefferson was worse than Brennan but Daniels is also Jefferson 2.0. Wait didn’t Daniels beat out Brennan and make him quit football? Hmm this isnt adding up
