That one in the redzone where Jarquez Hunter ran 8 yards and Damone stopped him at the one yard line and got up flexing pissed me off. Then the guy literally runs it in literally the next play. He's f*cking clueless sometimes

He's big. strong and fast.
With proper coaching, who knows what he might do?

Clark is doing what he can, but someone has to make tackles. Tommy Myers used to lead the Saints and near the top of the NFL for many years and he was playing safety.

Lots of empty stats there.

In his 15 tackles against MSU only 1 counted for a defensive win STOP. That's not exactly impactful.

The dude is never in the right position but at least he hustles and runs people down We'd be even worse if we didn't have him to run down plays (that he already whiffed on)

He can have 20 tackles a game, until he learns to run with back out of the back field, it don’t mean a THING!

Total tackles in football are like wins for a pitcher, in baseball. It doesn't really tell you anything about effectiveness, at face value. Nobody in that LB group makes plays in the backfield, and they're usually chasing people from behind.

I do not Get why people don’t understand why a player might be excited about saving a fricking TD.

That's a flex you do on 3rd down when they have to get a FG. Not 1st and goal and the RB runs it 8 yards.

Context, man. It matters. "Stopping" a guy from scoring, where you make a great play to to hold a guy to a minimal gain, no gain, or a loss, is something to be excited about. Letting a guy get 8 yards on first or second down and pushing him out of bounds is not something to celebrate. You just let the guy put his team in an easy scoring position.

But that's nothing. I saw Jay Ward, I believe it was, get up and do some kind of little showboating demonstration after Auburn completed a 10 yard pass for a first down. I can't fathom the lack of self-awareness where people think it's cool to celebrate a big hit, even after they just gave up a first down.
