He’s had a microscope on him all season and has battled through the adversity. I hope he puts on a show Saturday!

Sure if you only look at tackles.

The interception he made against Florida was all American caliber coverage and ball skills. I’ve been very critical of him, but he’s picked up his play as the season has gone on. Credit to Blake Baker.

He's the rants punching back from last year that has continued into this year but what they needed to look at is the scheme we play upfront and Clark is always having to take on blocks because of how aggressive we are up front. It's taken Clark time to adjust from the odd to even front and he's had his struggles but he wasn't the whipping boy the rant made him out to be.

.
Tell us what you saw in his coverage that merits your claim it represented "all America caliber coverage".
Wasn't the pas tipped by a teammate?

I think he's referring to the INT late in the game where Clark over the shouldered it.

You’re thinking of Baskerville’s interception earlier in the game. Clark was on the receiver like glue and turned around and picked it. If you’re going to be shitty, at least have your facts right.

He’s not having an All American season but he hasn’t been as bad as some here think either.

Damone is playing better but if you actually watch that play start to finish, it was made almost entirely by Roy. He got the pressure on richardson and made him backpeddal and panic throw a duck downfield.

The WR Clark was covering actually beat him, he was open downfield, and a good throw makes that a TD pretty easily. not blaming Clark because honestly it wasnt a good coverage scheme. A slot receiver got passed off to Clark basically and he had to run with a guy he couldnt. Luckily Roy got the pressure on Richardson quickly and forced a really bad throw.

Basically Roy made that all happen, and it wasnt a great defensive alignment to get a LB on a slot WR with nobody to back him up. Roy has been making plays like this all season though. He doesnt get near the credit he deserves.

Video of the play
Above in the video you can see Roy getting the quick pressure on Richardson forcing up a bad throw, Roy beat a double team.

You can also see where the slot WR got passed off to Clark who immediately beats him downfield, but the poor throw off Richardson's back foot meant Clark was able to catch up and make the play due to the ball being very underthrown. There was another angle I;ve seen but cant find right now that shows more of the play from Clark's point of view, the WR definitely got some good separation.

The definition of a linebacker is “back up the defensive line” basically fill the holes and gaps.. neither of our lb’s have consistently done this all season. Tackles 5-20 yards down field do not impress me. I will say the interception was an awesome play.

Def not an AA or 1st team SEC season, but he has greatly improved since UCLA. He is playing with more gap discipline and doesn’t miss pass defense assignments as often. Very happy to see the turnaround as he has every physical tool necessary to be a top NFL LB.

Wasn't being shitty. I asked you a question. In part b/c Clark's pass defense has not been all American this year and I wanted to understand what you were talking about.
You post so much crap here that you should not be surprised when someone questions you.
