Very impressed with Connor Ware again. Dude is a stud. Going to be a very good arm out of the pen or 4th of 5th starting option in post season play. Very impressive.

Absolutely. He will probably go to the pen in SEC play. Having a solid lefty arm like that coming out of the pen on the weekend in SEC play will be huge. I'm thinking Schmidt stays starting midweeks most of the season. Our pitching is going to give us a chance in every single game.

I’ll start with putting our biggest bat in the two hole and what may be our best or second best “ball player“ as lead off.
So you get a walk and a double and put the game on your side of the ledger, right from the get-go and never let up.
ETA: for the record, I’ve always liked a power guy in the two hole as opposed to a guy that handles the bat and runs well. Personal preference.
