For whatever reason Brown currently has spite for Wade and/or the current LSU basketball program.

Who knows what has happened, but contrary to what people usually say on here, Brown spoke about as highly as one could speak of Wade when he was first hired and when Wade was having early success. He said Wade had everything you want in a young coach and called him an A+ hire. Now, I know Wade rubbed a lot of people at LSU the wrong way when he refused to talk to LSU with his first attorney when the shite hit the fan. Even Wade admitted that was a mistake. But maybe it goes beyond all that stuff.

Personally, I think both Dale and Will are two of the best coaches the program ever had, they just do it differently. When Dale came in, the program was complete garbage. He generated and sustained excitement. Likewise, Will has us in contention every year. Dale did not say anything about Will, why in the hell is everyone so thin skinned?

Dale Brown's undoing was having Shaquille O'Neal for three years and never getting past the second round of the NCAA tournament. That completely destroyed the myth of his coaching ability.

Brown’s undoing: Brown fooled some of the people SOME of the time.

BUT...Brown could not fool all the people ALL the time!!

He tried but read this whole thread and see how little respect he really commands from LSU MBB fans...been saying and Dana Kirk aptly named him ELMER GANTRY!!!

Maybe less of a violation, but I recently heard an inside source mention how Dale sent an assistant coach to dick down a recruit’s mom to convince her son to sign.

Shaq is already admitted he got paid. Old Ernie of Ernie campus bar on Boyd swore to be that dale brown used to steal gas from his buddy on Nicholson. He would fill up his car and saw man I forgot my wallet at the gym or house but I will catch u next time. You know me I am dale brown. He did this every month or so according to Ernies buddy and he got stuck paying for it every time. He never came back and paid

Dale went to 2 Final 4's...let us know when Wade makes it to one. And I hope he does. But Dale is the greatest coach in LSU basketball history as of now. And it ain't close ladies.

it was Dale Brown who squandered the biggest lead in NCAA basketball history, by 31 points midway in the 2nd half, in an eventual loss to Kentucky in 1994.

Dale’s quote after that infamous flop “it was a bigger miracle we got up by 31 over Kentucky than blowing the lead”.

He also blamed Vernel Singleton having diarrhea on the radio postgame after blowing a lead late at home against Louisville and deflected to “it’s Christmas” so let’s not talk about this right now.

He’s a con man, albeit very well read and capable of worldly diversion to spin a narrative that fits his argument. Anyone with an IQ over 125 sees through his crap, those with less are often mesmerized with his spew.

Yet he took LSU basketball from the wilderness to challenging Kentucky for SEC supremacy. I agree Dale can be full of himself at times, but his record speaks for itself.

It’s a solid record, but most would agree he underperformed compared to the talent he bought.

I’m sure he appreciates you carrying his water late on a Wednesday evening.

Like regards Wade, the bought word is supposition at this point. But if true, Wade better pray he can buy half the players Brown got.

Collis Temple is one of the most crooked, evil, untrustworthy MF’s to come out of the Baton Rouge hood scene in a long, long, time. These ‘wayward boys homes’ he’s supposedly helping out the inner city kids with are criminal. His ties to Cleo Fields and the rest of the African American political machine are now squarely placed on the LSU Board of Supervisors with Temple’s appointment by JB Edwards. Business as usual.

If I’m guessing, Wade told Temple to kick rocks, Temple got pissed, and Dale didn’t like it. Dale went on one of his tirades and that’s what Culotta got wind of.

Yup. I seem to remember Abernathy’s conversion van being broken into, I believe in Biloxi, and having 7-9000 “recruitment incentives” stolen out of it.

I remember being so disappointed with Shaq and Roberts losing out on a championship. Extremely poor free throw shooting stands out in my mind.
