I was at LSU when Coach Skip Bertman and Coach Dale Brown were the heart and soul of our athletic department. They were two of the greatest leaders and ambassadors LSU has ever known, and we will forever be grateful for their extraordinary contributions, their leadership, and the generations of young men they mentored while building Hall of Fame programs.
God bless the Brown family and all those fortunate enough to have known Coach Brown personally. He was a great man, a remarkable leader, and someone whose legacy will forever be part of LSU.
And man, did he love LSU. We love you, Coach Brown.
Forever LSU. Geaux Tigers!

I didn't agree with all of his coaching decisions, but he did consistently recruit talent, compete, and win a lot of games. And there's no doubt he loved LSU. Thank you coach

Awesome he got the award and recognition prior to passing. He deserved it. Great coaches bring so much to their sports and lore.
