I personally tend to accept the word of some plant baws, many of whom didn't attend L S U, over a man who has been an L S U insider for decades.

There is a lot of F King hate on this board.

And for good reason. Everywhere that jackarse has been has turned into a shite show (just ask the folks in California). He and his "mafia" culture have no place at LSU.
FKing is a cocktail liberal who was probably very frustrated working around so many conservatives.
As for Dale Brown.......Great motivator who was a shite show as an X's & O's coach. Remember when he could not make it to the sweet sixteen with three NBA starters on the team? He is an egomaniac who is always on the lookout for a way to become relevant. Read Norm Sloan's book if you want to know the real Dale Brown. Anyone who would blackmail LSU is not someone I would celebrate.

That is Dale being Dale. He is entitled to his opinion. Dale is the one who established a tradition of winning for LSU basketball.

This comment is fitting for one of the most under performing, overrated coaches in LSU sports history

Dale Brown and Ron Polk both knew how ridiculous the NCAA model was long before anyone else jumped on the bandwagon.

The note from Dale reads like he copied and pasted it from the F. King talking points memo.

Notice how he makes no mention of the declining admission standards and national rankings.

Fieldon, much like Joe Alleva, could not unite the power brokers at LSU and couldn’t sell them on a vision to make the university a better place. LSU Athletics outpacing the academic institution in fundraising is just as much of an indictment on Alexander’s inability to raise funds as it is a feather in the cap of TAF.

Even assuming half of the garbage Dale Brown says means anything (it’s easy to have record enrollment when you constantly lower admissions standards), it is very telling that, despite all of this alleged success, Alexander was essentially run out of town AFTER the governor (who ultimately controls the board of supervisors) was re-elected.

anyone that knows him knows Dale is a very genuine, great caring person. In his lifetime, he will have made a positive difference in many lives. That’s something we can all hope to achieve.

Most who comment on Dale, King or others have never met them nor had a conversation with them.

While I did not always agree with the decisions these two men made, I respect both of them as individuals. My association with both of these men has had nothing to do with LSU or LSU athletics. They are both good men who genuinely care for others.

Pay no attention to those who post negative comments on these two men. They are narcissists.

My BIL ex wife worked at Ralph & Kacoo’s as a waitress years ago. She would tell us that Dale would come there often hosting large groups. He never tipped, in fact sometimes his guest would try to tip and Dale would tell them to put their money away that the restaurant pays these girls. She said he was rude on several occasions to staff

He called the NCAA Gestapo bastards.

He and his boy John Thompson walked off courts claiming "Prop 48" was racist.

Dale was SJW before SJW knew itself.
