Good point. All the more reason not to be a complete fricking idiot managing the pitching staff.

If you are going to point to THE REASON we are behind, it's because we haven't been able to throw strikes. It really hasn't been about effectiveness (other than Godfrey). So, overall, the approach was ok. But, I agree that taking Norman out makes no sense.

I need a Maineri supporter to explain why Norman was pulled.

OR HUNTER. You ride have someone ready, but ride them until trouble starts.

If this doesn't land him on a well-deserved hot seat, nothing every will. I'm am not a negatiger, nor do I tend to overreact....but this is absolutely inexcusable...as is LSU's performance in the post-season over the past 6 years. Coach of the year? LOL. He won the SEC, but as was pointed out, he didn't play the top two teams in the SEC, that are still standing btw.

Well there it is...ANOTHER RUN......unbelievable to run stallings out there. Just unbelievable.

CPM is pretty horrible in the post season. To be honest, we don't have the pitching depth this year, obviously. I'm ok with Mainieri gone. We have fallen off as a program compared to what we were.

All true except the bolded part. That is asinine.

Which is hard to understand being they have no power and hit like .30 points lower as a team than lsu but are hot in Omaha. It will be a tall task to beat vandy twice.

I think he should give Bregman a chance to pitch. Then all Seniors.

That run isn't there if Norman is in.
