The first paragraph of his wiki page still says he's the LSU WR coach.

Saints gonna hire him since the Jets are hiring Morton has OC

CJ is the man. Recruited and coached some of the best ever players out of Louisiana like Marshall Faulk to San Diego State and Ed Reed to Miami. Highly regarded in both College and the NFL. Coached WR with Saints for 6 years and was responsible for development of Marquis Colston and Lance Moore to name a couple. Would be a huge get for LSU, but he will be up for highest bid to obtain his services IMO.

quote:How about hiring a proven and experienced ST coach to coach ST's. (That aint Craig) LSU is no place for OTJT when it comes to an important area like ST's. We need somebody there that really knows their shite.
If he wants the job, let him have it and make Craig the ST Coord (and let him help with both WRs and TEs if we have to).
So many of you are just stuck up on DC because of his alleged recruiting prowess. Yall want to keep him on the staff, then hire Johnson to coach WR's and let him coach RB's.
Juluke is expendable, as he didn't even make sure that Guice knew the play and his assignment during that last timeout against Florida...............

I'm down. But hire him after NSD so he can talk to recruits during the dead period.
This week coaches have unlimited calls up to signing day. Anyone can talk to prospects a lot.

Go away Semjackass (BRAVEHEART)! LSU fandom does not need your type. LSU football is diverse and will remain so despite your desires to make it in your image of the Fourth Reich.
Hockey is a better sport for you and those of your ilk to follow and support. That way you can support everyone on your team, be it coaches or players, regardless of race. You would not have that preconceived idea some are inferior to others based on race. Or that some a more desirable than others for your team based on their race. LSU Football is not the place for you. Go away!

Is Bobby April still the consultant?
And I hear you - I want O to bring Joe Rob home, but that may not be in the cards. I think Craig could grow in the job under April's tutelage - like I might have said, Craig did coach special teams for the Miami Dolphins.

Curtis Johnson just informed the Chicago bears (current employer) he will not be returning to the team.
Nothing announced on where he's headed? Waiting until after NSD?

He coached in the senior bowl with the bears staff, he probably wouldn't have wasted their/his time if he was planning on going back to the college ranks. Idk just a thought
