Gonna cost over a Million per year per recruiting class if SI's numbers are accurate. Going rate for a standard mid/high 4 star recruit is $100k a year.

Going to have to really re-think my 30+ year LSU/TAF football/basketball ticket commitment...seems as if the wheels of collegiate athletics are coming off !

How is we get so far behind the 8 ball is the question?

The rant swore we were ahead of the game in Times Square.

He may be correct but I am at the point where I take everything Culotta says with a grain of salt. The last year he has been wrong way more times than he has been correct. I wonder sometime if he isn’t feed false information on purpose.

He's correct that LSU is behind.

I have some insight through some colleagues into some of what Georgia and Alabama boosters, among a few others, have been doing. Some innovative stuff. LSU's name wasn't mentioned by those same sources.

Gordon woke everyone up and basically issued a challenge to other business/supporters to do the same. Applaud him for that

Gordon is going to actually get a return on his dollar. He will gain a lot more clients from his NIL deals.

Other businesses still have to make a business decision. At some point giving these kids money for NIL has to make you enough money to at least break even.

Kayshon is a good example. Kayshon will bring in more "charger" clients for Gordon.

Lily Dunn for the yoga pants company Vuori is a perfect fit. She brings in millions a views from her socials and will sell a lot of clothes.

Culotta has a million dollars??? Yeah, ok. By the way, I have this great piece of real estate I would like to sell you. It's just about 50 miles south of Yscloskey.

And this whole NIL scam turns to sht. Originally were the universities not allowed to facilitate NIL deals....so is all that down the toilet now...and it just becomes pay for play...ain't that grand.

Just as the Collectives are starting to be investigated by the NCAA...

We are always late to the party.

$1 million is nice. The Gator Guard was started by an alumni who donated $1,000,000 himself.

I guess Fans don't really have a say in any of this mess or they just don't care what the fans think. Just money counts.

Keep hearing this, but nobody will elaborate on what all the “innovative” stuff is

This isn't new "news". Also, Louisiana Legislature states that LSU cannot be involved in NIL deals, but a law is on the floor to change this.

Jordy also isn’t very intelligent and parrots what he hears as if it is gospel without having the ability to think through what would need to take place before anything happens.

Not a fan of NIL and never imagined it would be like this. I figured it would be a cap of some sort, not a free for all.

This has turned into straight pay for play for current players and recruits. NIL is not even part of the equation anymore.

You are right.

But, it was ALWAYS pay for play. Anyone with half a brain saw it coming. The value in NIL is minimal.
