hell, he barely showed up to practice last year... even he admitted that. it aint easy to keep the BBQ gang together, give interviews, ride in parades, AND coach a baseball team.

its more of a joke for the football team bc Les actually processes his shitty assistants. Mainieri would rather keep his homeboy Javi

you're right. the overall lack of consistent hitting the last 2 seasons and then this one is just a cause for concern... they need to get it on track fa sho

He certainily has not improved this team's hitting since Nat'l Championship. How can you do that with a title and a new stadium.

Trent gets them.....why not Maineri

could be viewed as a defense of Trent's horrid recruiting and just as putrid bench coaching

but I stand corrected if you say so

Cause he thinks now that he won a championship he doesnt have to work as hard anymore.

PM went out last year and had one of his buddies look for another job and got a top talent pitching coach. Its quite clear Javi is in way over his head as a hitting coach at a big time baseball program.

well like i said in the other thread, we are averaging 8 runs a game.

we've given up 7 runs in 6 games.

it's not the end of the world.

This is going to be a long season and frustrating. This team can't hit water if they fell out a boat.

Is this a joke? As Lester said, LSU is averaging 8 runs a game. With the new shitty bat regulations that is HUGE. Anyone expecting -5 offensive numbers just doesn't know shite. As far as the hitting the last 2 years, the bats changed.

I pray to God that the idiots that start threads like these are just kids and wish that they could even sniff the old time lockers in Allen Hall. Whenever LSU loses a game. you idiots find reasons to fire a coach or talk bad about the players. If the coaches and players are so bad, then why are your asses not on the field? I have a great idea, let's fire the AD and every coach in every sport, and start over. It's really a shame how one of college's best sports board is being ruined by people who have no true afillation with LSU or never attended that school. If your arse can do better than every athlete or coach, at the school that I have I have two degrees from, then why isn't my annual TAF contributions go to hire/support your arse?
