Preach!!! Ump was trash both ways. That stat you posted was why we are in the losers bracket.

Who would play SS if we pinch-hit for Thompson - literal question, I do not know who our 2nd string SS is…

Good pitching beats good hitting all day long. This is why we lost. WF is very deep at this position. Floyd pitched a great game. If we would have had 1 hit from each of these players. LSU would have won going away. LSU needs to recruit some stud pitchers and we will be back next year.

Good pitching beats good hitting. Pitchers for both teams did their jobs. They did it slightly better.

I’d like to see Jones at this point. Good pitching destroys our batters

Hard to know what to swing at with that ump. Wake kept getting calls off the plate and well below the knee (esp on sliders).

I was thinking Jared Jones might have been a good pinch hit spot for Beloso in that situation
No. If you wanted Jones you would have started him.

This is why I say you always needs three really good pitchers to win Omaha. You're going to run into pitcher's duels and that is almost what last night was. Now we have no arms and are hoping we can outhit them tonight.

We need to stop swinging for the fences and try small ball.

Seemed to me that the reff sucked the confidence out of both teams and messed with the pitchers rhythm on both sides. What sucks the most about his presence was like "I control this game and everyone suck my dick" and to me that is a horrible garbage arse job by a power hungry little man.

That’s exactly what we needed out of them. We need more production at the plate.

That'll get you beat. We had our opportunities but just couldn't string things together.

Our pitching was really clutch, albeit a little hair raising at times.

Also, while I don't blame umps for losses, some of the pitch calls on Ty in the 6th were just killers.

In any event, we are where we are, and we can't win all three games we need at six o'clock tonight ... but, we can can get our heads on straight, end the Vols' season, and see what happens from there.

Gavin Guidry was the Gatorade Player of the year in Louisiana at shortstop. If you don't know that, you haven't been paying too much attention.

I cant fault Dugas and Pearson. Dugas got on base twice.

Travinski and Thompson looked lost as shite. I dont even know who looked worse.

And I dont know what to say abut Crews. It would be interesting to see his stats leading off vs batting 3rd.
