Crews struggles can be traced back to one thing.

It’s 100 percent the threads saying Crews can go 0 for his next 100 at bats and still be batting over .300. Never slap the baseball gods in the face with a good challenge.

I’m much less worried about Crews or our offense and much more concerned that Ty Floyd just had his season best performance in 7 innings and we couldn’t get 6 more outs with our bullpen! That’s a problem. Idk what’s up with Hurd but he needs to have a talk with Floyd and Skenes to see what he can do differently so he can be relied on. He’s got the stuff to make it happen. He just needs to figure out how to do it consistently. He cost us this game and I don’t blame our coach for going with him at that time. He just needs to figure it out. Do exactly whatever Floyd did for this game. That was a huge difference to what I’ve seen Ty Floyd do all season, so they have it in them, just need to bring it out.

I disagree. Stating that a pitcher hasn't allowed a hit yet in the 7th inning can absolutely derail a no hitter, but that's an in-game jinx. Those are real. I don't buy in to the statements made during a season like this......yet. If this continues, I may change my mind.

I can 100% say you are definitely not wrong.

That Umps zone was also the best Floyd has seen, all season

I said that Friday night. People think they’re being cute saying stuff like that. You never tempt the baseball gods. Just how the no hitter on Friday night was broken up the second after someone mentioned it.

Someone sped up his walk-up song at The Box.
Changed his mojo.

Baseball gods don’t exist….jinx’s don’t exist…it’s a statistical phenomenon called regression to the mean. Overperformance always gets corrected to get closer to average performance. Some of it could be fatigue, mild injury, etc but there is no way what you do ( like wearing a certain shirt) affects the performance of someone on a field or court.

Nerd. You’re wrong on all accounts. Jinx are definitely real.

Looks like he's taking good pitches early in abs then he's pressing when he gets behind in count
