I didn’t respond to you I responded to robertgamb so get your facts straight. If you don’t notice the things that are happening that’s fine but some of us do. If you want to throw a parade for beating on a HS team that’s fine too but some of us are more concerned about the actual games that matter. In other words if you just want to lick McMahon’s arse talk to the other mcmen and leave the people who care about LSU basketball alone.

I mean look, we won last years opener by 35 vs a similar team so it’s a game vs tackling dummies. Did we learn anything, did we push anybody to see how much run we could get out of em? No, we accomplished zero and that’s without a single critique of the things we didn’t do well. Yea the cheerleaders all have the vapors over it but the best thing that actually happened was nobody got injured.

They played TCU as an exhibition game and lost 88-54. And then UNO BEAT TCU 78-74.
LSU needs to step up its game to avoid an embarrassing upset by its instate rival (at one time a part of the LSU system).

Sometimes think he was setup to fail, but he keeps fighting. Love the game and lsu but he may have grabbed a top pg in the nation, group of position-less transfers, a pure shooter, and held onto his 2 top recruits.
Tart u was a good team, Hicks was probably the best player out there. Worry about the lack of guard depth and weight in the front court going forward. Reece is the X factor, he will be forced into heavy minutes immediately.
All my opinion.

However, Tarleton State is not a good team and posters need to let go of this completely imaginary narrative. They were 12-20 last season, finishing 6/9 in the WAC and a losing conference record. They are currently ranked 291 in Kenpom and their player that scored 23 against SMU (20 point loss) played one minute against LSU during the dribble out.
There isn’t one singular fact that Tarleton State is a good team, so I kindly ask that posters stop saying it. It weakens any other stance or argument presented due to the absurdity.

Like clockwork. Way to be fooled again. We beat the crap out of scrubs early on every season. It’s the same predictable cycle every year. In a couple more weeks you’ll be calling for this team to finish above .500 in the SEC and laughing at peoples “unrealistic” takes that they’re going to finish at the bottom of the league. In reality will continue to average 4 league wins per year under MM

The pg diving the lane pulling 4 tigers in the first half showed it. They didn’t get the opportunity to kick out out for 3pt options.

I don’t get it. Sorry, I’m not claiming intellect. I don’t see how the team we played was bad. Gillespie, give a point, had 2 guards that didn’t give up on a dribble, hicks best player on court (all around), Douglas had solid moments. I don’t think tartleton is still in southland but will compete. Was a very good team. Laugh all you want, seems to be your go to. Eat shite lol
