When will these reporters stop bashing college kids, there wasn't any reason to mention Mett's legal problems from two years ago. That doesn't have anything to do with TM or Miles deciding not to bring him. Totally disgusting journalism.

So why didn't Dodd ask Miles straight-up face-to-face why he didn't bring Mathieu? Or at least re-direct since it sounds like he completely b!tched out and asked him in a seriously round-a-bout way.
Listening to 104.5 yesterday, Miles took time out and actually put the local radio on hold to give Dodd some exclusive time to ask some questions per what 104.5 was hearing from Bonnette.
That time and thoughtfulness was repaid by putting Miles, Mettenberger & Mathieu all on blast.
I know I talk about how timid our local jouranlists can be but Dodd took a real sh!tty shot at LSU with this article. Extremely negative for no apparent reason.

I didn't even realize that. I've thought for a while that Dodd was an awful writer and person, and he just keeps reconfirming my stance every year.

I usually listen to Iheart Radio or catch Espn radio out of Baton rouge on my app. Yesterday i happen to listen to WJOX. some idiot gump said we are still winning with Saban's players. said basically anyone can win at LSU b/c Lord Saban blessed the program for years to come.

Don't know anything about Dodd, so I looked him up.
His recent tweets are stunning.
I've never seen anyone with such a love affair with Nick Saban.
Calls him an "oracle" and "The new Joe Pa, without the scandal".
It's pretty amazing reading,and some of the most shameless "journalism" I've ever seen, including Pravda and the China "People's Daily".

This isn't even good writing. What reporter walks away from LSU's media day and thinks the story is why Tyrann Mathieu isn't there.

The whole thing makes Dodd come off as childish and immature.
Seems butt hurt about something, but his readers (if any) should expect some modicum of effort, despite his disappointment.

Dodd has had a mancrush on the Honeybadger. He constantly retweets him on twitter and is pretty disappointed at not having a chance to interview that firecracker of a personality -on/off the field -that is Mathieu.
