To be honest, I would want to have the strongest schedule as possible each year. I know a lot of fans want to have as many several "gimmie wins", but I want to see us play Bama, Florida, UGA, Auburn, Oklahoma, A&M.. and Texas, Arkansas & Ole Miss..If we can get the first 6 games I listed that would be good and if they have to be rotated, I'd like to see the last 3 I mentioned thrown in..

I don’t like that we don’t get to play Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn, or Alabama. I could take losing 2 of those games, but not all 4.

A & C are the Varsity pods.

B & D are the Junior Varsity pods.

Pod C is brutal.

Pods B and D are pillow fights. At least that would give Tennessee a chance to get back on their feet.

Thinking this is the setup ESPN/Sankey will want.

Makes perfect sense for their purposes. $$$

If they do the pod approach from a competitive standpoint and a traditional rival standpoint, it just makes a ton of sense to do:

Pod1: Ok, UT, Ark, Missouri
Pod2: TAMU, LSU, MSU, OM
Pod3: Bama, Aub, Tenn, SC
Pod4: UGA, UF, Vandy, UK

Each group has 2 perennial powers and it is reasonable grouped by area.

Specifically for LSU, I’d want my every year opponent from other pods to be Bama and Aub. Ark really does nothing for me and the “Boot” rivalry always just seemed forced.

I’d miss playing UF but I still would much prefer Bama and Aub over UF

Perennial power feels strong for A&M but I get what you mean

On second thought, I would swap SC and Uk

It’s not about pod balance.

So pods A&C will play for the championship every year?

Or will those pods beat up on each other while the weaker pods might have a more dominant team and squeak in with a better record

How many games are we talking about inside each pod? 3 correct.

It's still a nine game SEC schedule. Maybe a 7-2 team makes it to the Championship game, but that team would still have to win 7 SEC games. Right?

Somebody is smoking crack! No way the SEC approves those Pods LOL!! Most likely they stay with East division / West divisions. Rotating 2 other oppo divisions teams.
