Interesting. So, people have trouble giving it up... even when they know they should, or they must. And they say it’s not addictive.

The same could be said for fast foods.

No, what’s really going on here is some of you uneducated twats were fed (and believed) the propaganda bullshite about weed in the 50s and then again in the 80s.

You’re the same stupid bastards that bought into the Satanic Panic of 80s. Despite the fact that there is zero evidence to support your claim, you go right on believing it anyway.

Beating women and smoking crack is part of the culture too, what’s your point?

I haven’t smoked weed since I was about 14. That was 43 years ago.

I’ve heard it is much improved now, but that stuff sucked back then.

Hell, if I were President of the United States, I’m pretty sure I could resist diddling a White House page for the duration of my term but shite happens.

No! Almost no man could have resisted that. That girl cornered him, dropped to her knees, and employed her pie-hole. I love my wife; I voted against that president twice; but I cannot fault him for that.

Yes. But weed is less dangerous than tobacco and alcohol so the weed laws are really really stupid.

there's probably enough people on here that have never smoked that it's not the right question. How bout would you not drink a drop of alcohol.

For me it would still be relatively easy but definitely harder.

I hope this is sarcasm.

Are you really surprised these people act the way they do?

Street cred is more important to these people than any promise of security.

It’s obvious you do not understand addiction.

Lies! it is addictive. And some people can just quit whenever cold turkey like me. But some people can’t

They are sore, hurt and injured all time time. Let them smoke it...or at least let them use CBD oils. It helps with the aches and pains.

I found it much more enjoyable and fun back then. Don't know if it was me being so much younger with less on my mind or if it was the weed being so much different back then.

People in general are notorious for making decisions that are really bad for themselves, even when certain death is involved.

Morbidly obese people who can’t give up fatty foods.
Smokers taking a puff out of their trach tubes.
Abused women who go back to their worthless abuser.
Parolees who can’t stay out of a bar fight.
Powerful, married politicians who can’t stay away from the eager beavers.

You think a teenage college football player is going to be wiser than any other classification of humanity?

I’m a corporate professional. One grown child, two grandchildren.

I also broke C1 in a car accident. Compression fractures in T1-6.

I was discharged 24 hours after an emergency appendectomy with no pain meds.

I smoke weed.

I committed to that in 1991 at a starting salary of ~40K/yr. Pretty sure I could pull it off for 3 years and millions.

For your analogy to work, you would’ve had to quit in ‘88 because there’s a chance you could get the $40K job in ‘91.

Still doable, but you can see what a completely different scenario that would’ve been.
