Quit for 4 years so I could fight in wars! I could easily quit for 3 years to make millions on the back end.

or you could just go to a school (Every school other than LSU for example) where they don't care if you smoke weed or test for it

They shouldn’t have to give it up. No one cares if they have a drink of alcohol every now and then. No one cares if they eat fast food every now and then. There is no logical reason for testing for fricking pot. Woooooo..... it’s illegal....... Big fricking deal. It’s a misdemeanor at best. I don’t see anyone getting suspended for games for getting a speeding ticket. Pot is some people’s way of relaxing and unwinding from a hard day. It’s hell of a lot better for them than 90% of the prescription medications out there.

But you won’t give them up for health reasons..... brilliant.

kids just learn risk analysis with weed smoking. They simply adapt to another career taking advantage of educational opportunities, and implement ambition in other ventures. They know the odds of making the pros are slim, but the enjoyment of blazing every day is guaranteed

Weed should not be a suspendable offense.

But it is, and they know it. We can argue all day about whether you agree with it or not. Doesn’t matter.

Most self respecting humans don’t do it for their entire adult lives in order to provide for the people they love the most. You know wife and kids. Some were raised to give a shite about providing for their family others weren’t.

Interesting. So, people have trouble giving it up... even when they know they should, or they must.

And they say it’s not addictive.

I've known so many people that smoke weed but still take care of their family that this statement is absurd. You are overestimating the cost and effect of weed. There are a lot of professionals with families that use marijuana.

It's stupid to not give up weed for millions of dollars, but it is equally stupid to drug test for weed.

No. This is a bigger discussion than any one player or suspension.
