Coach you fired takes over one of the worse teams in it’s conference and goes to the big dance two years in a row. A team in your state no less.

Your hand picked replacement gets a ridiculous contract and is so scared of getting embarrassed it turns down back to back NIT bids. Embarrassing state of affairs.

the difference between best and worst team in the southland is nothing.

Wade is a great coach. Huge fish in a small pond.

You gotta be a stupid motherfricker to give any money to LSU’s NIL knowing that they are going to be spending a lot more on bball next year. Money ain’t the issue.

I'm sure you've watched dozens and dozens of Southland Conference basketball games this season in order to back this up.

I also think the NIL PR push fell flat too. I think Scott thought that contrived as it was, it would give CMM a boost to finish the year strong and it went the other way - we finished the season about as poorly as I've seen. It was awful and seemingly not only on the court but off as well from reading the tea leaves.

Nah. We’re an absolute JOKE in basketball and were rolling under tPear. Wade was unnecessarily fired.

This if MM wins a game or two or even kept it close then maybe his lies about NIL would work. Instead we proceed to not be in any games and now it’s either fire him because it completely collapsed or keep him for another year of apathy. I think his ego is too big to fire someone he hired.

He really painted himself into the corner with that NIL PR release. I'll continue to say he did it at least in part - to avoid having to deal with boosters coming to him about WW....if that is even half true - he could fire CMM after WW gets hired following his exit from the tourney - but I think he went too far to turn back with his ploy.

Mcneese has been a doormat in a doormat league for a longtime. For them to all of the sudden be a dominant team in a league where it’s a tourney champ qualifier only is a giant leap. Saying it’s relatively easy or easier than it is for most is just factually incorrect and the numbers show that. Either you don’t understand the mechanics of a conference and team like this or you just don’t want to give credit because of who the coach is.

I agree, I guess we could but then the problem becomes for fat Scott that it was clear he didn’t want to have to deal with Wade being there for hire.

It also could put us behind others in hiring a coach so we are stuck. It’s an embarrassing situation for LSU athletics

They just had to leap over the other slightly better doormats.
