My favorite part of that play is Delpit knocking I think KVJ out of the way to go for the ball

Brooks, delpit, chaisson, and Stevens are all in the area and in good position to block, yes I think he scores. Maybe even get a few punishing blocks on any WR that shows up around midfield

So he wasn't blocked or impeded on one play so it probably would never happen on any of them.

No cause his knee was down almost as soon as he touched the ball.

Any coach would show that over and over to his team What an effort play to come out of the end zone and chase him 60 yards down the field.

Fulton did a good job of taking on the guy blocking him and that left no lane for Tua to run and I think contributed to forcing the fumble

Well, he could've pitched it to Vincent and . . . yes he would have scored.

What would Ruggs have done with Brooks, Delpit, Stevens and Chiasson running interference for Thornton down the sideline.

He would have gone around them , the long way

Why was 43 Thornton even in the game at this point ?

45 Divinity was out ?

Was 43 the replacement for 45??

He probably could have. But it would have been very risky and if he didn’t handle it cleanly and bama got it back, everyone on here would have been yelling for him to never see the field again. Like you said, he made the smart choice by falling on it

Glad he didn’t. The offense made a statement on drive after the recovery that really set the tone for the game. If he had run it back, Alabama would have gotten the ball back quickly, and I am not sure the momentum swing would have felt the same.

Whatever, I’m glad he just covered the ball.

Looks like the Tackle #74 had the angle and the wheels!

That was important. Deep down we needed confirmation we could score on Bama after the last 8 years.
