Sorry to open old wounds but i was watching the FL/LSU game with that winning TD pass

What could have been if Lesticles wasnt so cray

Do you think LSU scores or comes back at all in that game or was Bama just way to gnarly on D?

Those two teams were so much fun to watch (and bet on) during that season

No. They always had his number plus he would have only had a half to comeback

Jarret Lee makes 0 difference in that game. I understand putting him in to shake things up because Jefferson couldn’t do shite but I think he comes in with that deer in a headlights look and just throws pics like he did in the 9-6 game

It would not have made a difference.

Here is all that matters about the 2011 season:
Lsu was a better football team than Alabama, but Nick Saban was a much better coach than Les Miles, and that's what caused 1/9/12. Anything else is irrelevant at this point.

maybe so, but we'll NEVER KNOW, because Les didn't try anything to light a spark.

It's the last game of the season for the national championship. Time to try anything and everything, because what we were doing WASN'T WORKING.

But no, Les just drove the plane straight into the ground, without changing a thing.

Absolute coaching malpractice, on display for the entire world to see.

Plot twist:

Zach Mettenberger comes in during the first half and jumpstarts the offense for a victory.

No Jarrett almost assuredly would not have won that game, but was a microcosm of CLMs stubbornness, he refused to adapt or change or come up with a plan.

No. Lee quit during the first Bama game. Bama knew how to get him to quit again.

Yes, we would have won in overtime, but, oh well.

This is 100% false.

JJ shoulders 100% blame for what happened. That was the worst performance by an LSU QB ever, and the standard under Les was already low

They didn’t even change the calls. No new wrinkles. Didn’t matter who was at quarterback. Miles was still the coach.
