He’s a bad, bad man when it comes to physicality on the lien of scrimmage. Could be bulk up and play center? It’s not unheard of for a tight end to grow into an OL.

That might be his best chance to have a long NFL career anyway.

I doubted, Watching Liam Shanahan getting his shite pushed in against decent DTs was frustrating. I can't see Mashburn doing any better than that as a C

He'd need like 70 pounds.

He's only 225.

He looks like he’s maxed out frame wise already, so no.

TE is a bigger need than C right now

What makes more sense:

1. converting one of the surplus of SEC caliber offensive linemen now on the roster to center.

2. converting a former walk-on QB who converted to TE and is the only TE worth a damn as a blocker to center.

3. Finding a proven center in the transfer portal.

I'll give you a clue, it's not #2.

A center is so much more than that to an O-line and QB.

Mashburn is perfect where he is.

Just go to roster, find his name, edit player and bump his weight up to 280 then switch positions. How hard is that?

Then we can switch to a 3-4 and bulk Jaray Jenkins up to play Nose

With a head of steam. Not sure he would be great lining up and blocking nose to nose. As others have said, doesn't really have the frame to put on that weight.

He could be a long snapper. May not be a bad idea for him to find a place in the league. But not every down center.

He’s not even a real TE. He’s more of an HBack/fullback
