He was a fine receiver early on, but then he got crushed catching a pass across the middle (Auburn?). After that, he short armed everything inside. It wasn't his eyesight... he still made some great catches outside, just never made the "Bama' catches in the middle. Same with Diarse. We need a Landry who can/will make those catches.

I seem to recall some crucial 3rd down catches he made at critical times against Ole Miss and Florida that same season. Not sure I agree with your logic but some on this board will always choose to see things a certain way.

Somewhere they don't need third down conversions.

Quinn was a kid whose overall body of work does not deserve the selective criticism he gets on this board.
Yes, he had some drops in a game or two.
Overall, he seemed to do a good job, but just didn't have the raw talent of a number of the other WR's.

Is he graduating and will he be eligible immediately.
If not and he goes to Houston he might not play for Herman

I doubt he graduated in only 2 years. He'll use his redshirt season to transfer and have 2 years of eligibility to play after that.

He'll have to go outside the SEC. No way Miles allows this to happen.

It's still crazy to think about. I had high hopes of him being another Landry type (just not as shifty). He had the hands, he could block well, and he had the route running and decent speed.

Sometimes guys just get passed up. I really believe these guys like Diarse, Quinn, and Upchurch would have started on plenty power 5 schools, but LSU is just too loaded. The guys we have starting will be lighting up the NFL in a few years. The freshman trio we have all looks special. Guys like Dillon and Ferguson are all kinds of talented that we rarely, if ever, talk about. Billy Johnson is struggling to even be a top 4 WR (Ferguson played with the ones and just might be ahead of him at slot). Chark looks like a Travin Dural clone all the way down to his lower recruiting rank.

Oklahoma St

If he doesn't, there was a fairly recent change of plans

Can't wait for all other threads in a year complaining about how we misused Trey after he starts racking up stats at some air raid school
