Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems not everyone is pleased with Coach Ed Orgeron.

Am I sensing this correctly?

Yes, we are hoping and praying for a lifetime contract.

Space Cowboy told me most fans like the direction of the program under O

I'll restate what I said this morning and confirmed it with other LSU fans at the Orlando airport this morning.
As a coach, I normally don't complain about other coaches. I was and am willing to give O a chance, but I've seen too many things this season that give me cause for concern. I think the drama all season that surrounds things he says is very immature for his position.
But it doesn't matter what we think ... he's going to do what he wants. He told us loud and clear that he is the head coach. The AD made it clear... he was the search committee.
We can debate all we want, but it doesn't matter to those who make the decisions.

Hopefully Orgeron is merely LSU's Ron Zook, Charlie Strong, Luke Fickell -- a speedbump between quality hires.

I think Ron Zook is a solid comparison. Pretty good recruiter, so the program isn't going to left with a massive talent deficit after he's gone, but everyone and their brother knows they're just not a good head football coach and are on borrowed time.

As Ed McMahon used to say on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, "You are correct sir."

Zook went 9-4 ... at Illinois.
Strong won 11 games at Louisville and 10 at USF.
Fickell ... well, that might be a good comparison ... but, Fickell is a lot younger.

I think Zook > Orgeron. I'm just saying that his stint at Florida was on borrowed time from the beginning and they weren't going to be elite while he was there.
But we all knew the next guy would inherit a stocked cupboard of talent.

Look below ... not even the O pumpers will go on record to rank O even in the TOP 7 of the SEC.
They wash his balls ... but, deep down, they all know the truth.

I don't think nomojeaux has been seen since early in the game thread yesterday.

When do we get the quality hire?
I'm starting to get car sick.

To be fair, Fickell was only supposed to be interim until Tressel returned from his suspension. Then Tressel resigned during the summer and Ohio State just had to roll with him for the whole season. I wouldn't lump him in with the others.

No, you’re wrong. Most people are happy with Coach O and also proud of him. They believe he just needs another season, and all will be well.

what immature things has he said that trouble you?
which mistakes trouble you?
we didn't have any clock management issues this year like we always had under Miles.
what are you talking about since you claim to be a coach?
