I don’t think it’s a let him leave thing…. I think Raymond wanted a better title. He may have felt spurned by Frank getting the Associate Head Coach position over him.

Hasn't Raymond had more misses than hits recruiting as of late? Not saying I'm glad to see him gi, but it feels like high profile people lsu was supposed to get recruited by him went elsewhere
But, the good coaches find replacements that make you forget about the misses. That's what Raymond has done- for years- when he does miss.

Raymond going to Florida is a bigger story than Raymond leaving LSU. If he had left the SEC I would just kind of shrugged my shoulders.
