wife and I always make gumbo for the first LSU football weekend the last 10 years or so(except for 2024 when we went to the game in Vegas)

I'm not excited about gumbo in 80 degree weather but tradition is tradition

Last two years I did Jambalaya… this year I got tickets as a surprise to my dad and gonna meet up with a fellow TDer.

However, our tradition growing up and is usually Brew Bachers either before heading to campus or after the game. Good onion rings, and the fact that my dad and I have been going to the same burger spot for 20+ years now is pretty cool to say. Even if I’m getting old

first game is always HOT AS BALLS.

What was the excuse the first year, that started such an awful tradition?

Sliced cucumber and honeydew melon would be quite refreshing in that cold water
