Really? I'm an independent, I get paid on how much I write up. The more I get the insured.......the more I make.

You must be taking about an agent.........

Still don't understand the downvotes........a Cat 1 Hurricane and 12-18 inches of rain is about to hover over south Texas for a few days, emergency declarations have already been made, yet only on the rant is the OP dumb for even trying to discuss a contingency plan?

There are 85,000 hotel rooms in Houston.

I think we will be able to find them a red roof inn.

What realistic scenario could you give me that would force this game to be played anywhere else?...

The city will be flooded and nobody will be able to get to the game. People need to fly or drive to Houston, stay in hotels, eat in restaurants, go to the hospital if there is an emergency, etc. Additionally, the stadium needs to be staffed and police security must be provided. Most if not all of these things become an impossibility when more than half of the city is under water.

Do you guys seriously not think this shite through? It isn't about the damn stadium.

TX has invested heavily in infrastructure over the years. Yes has great potential to be a huge flooding event. But it's not some Mickey mouse operation.

It will be once they get 20+ inches of rain in 5 days. It flooded very badly a few months back with 5-6 inches of rain.

You know nothing about Houston, dude. The place is built on a swamp and floods very easily.

The wish/doom casting on this site is odd. My SO's family lives in Houston inside the loop and have barely seen any rain. The Houston businesses I follow on social media seem to be operating as usual.

Probably people who aren't going to the game.

Yeah people are crazy. The doubts yesterday were understandable. But it will be played as scheduled unless something drastically changes.

Do you ever read anything other than headlines and text from your friends? Houston wasn't expected to start getting the bad stuff until tomorrow. That's been the prediction the whole time. Now it's looking like it might happen tonight.

I'm thinking this stuff will get spread out enough that the whole city will not see serious flooding and the game will be played.
It's dumb though to post stuff like you just did though.
