Never knew Switzer was such a good pure runner.

Now I can die in peace.

Or at least I can die in peace as soon as we reach a consensus that J. Reed was far and away the best ever at his position.

Cecil Collins, pathetic as he is, is arguably the best running back to ever come through LSU.

I can't believe there hasn't been one DE thrown out there.

Gabe Northern?
Marcus Spears?
Marquise Hill?
Kenny Mixon?
Tyson Jackson?

Does any DE stand out or is it like the RB's?

I guess I'd have to go with Taylor. He is in the NFL HOF and is considered one of the all-time greats

Tommy Casanova did not play Safety at LSU

He was a CB on defense all 3 years at LSU.

Glad to see one person place him at CB.

Also he played hurt his Sr.

This. Dude was a monster.

And for the second corner, idk if it's been thrown out yet but Corey Webster. Best corner I saw here before PP7 who was the best LSU player I have ever seen in person.
I have no doubt that had he come back next year, he would be only the second 3-time All-American at LSU and could have won the Thorpe/Bednarik awards again with a potential Heisman invite. He likely would have his number retired someday, but alas we will never know
