Your program has proven it can’t win the big game
Really? A win against the SEC champs (and spare me the "backup QB" crap ... Stockton bailed Georgia out against Texas and played well in the Sugar Bowl) in the playoff wasn't a big win? Or winning a final four game? If you guys want me gone from this board, quit posting nonsense.

Played well
You don't know anything about elite QB play. ND hasn't seen elite QB play since Montana.

I came on here after reading all the inane stuff bashing Notre Dame's success under Marcus Freeman.
You are so full of shite. You came on here all full of piss & vinegar spewing nonsense about how Freeman is such a great coach & he's so much better than Brian Kelly.
Now you have sand in your vagina because you want to compare apples to oranges in terms of the current playoff system in comparison to the past.
Notre Dame currently is no different now than it was under Kelly. 3 playoff wins over an overrated Indiana, a Georgia team that had issues stopping QB, running the ball & drops by WRs even with Carson Beck & a Penn St team that doesn't have better WRs than Tulane. This Irish team was a solid team. Nothing special or better than any Irish team in recent history yet they got the luck of the Irish in terms of their draw on that side of the bracket.

Didn't Brian Kelly bring Marcus Freeman to Notre Dame - putting Freeman in the best position to be considered and hired as the head coach after Kelly left for LSU?
I haven't really paid attention but has anyone given any type of credit to BK for not only rebuilding Notre Dame but delivering their current head coach right to them...
Seems like ND people should be showing a bit more gratitude toward BK.

Nowhere in my post did I "whine." But whatever. I'll wait a year and see how y'all feel about BK then.
You can bet that not one of us will be on Notre Dame message pulling our hair out and acting like a c u n t

Nobody cares.
PS: wrong board? Why are you trying to convince/preach to us like we're invested in any way?

My team just finished playing hard in a title game.
Let me go talk on a message board of a team that my former coach left for over 3 years ago.
Huh??? Make it make sense.

yeah, their QB can run a little, but that is it.....he can't hit the broad side of a barn passing. This guy acting like he knows good QB play...lmao. Talk about a melt for the century. He definitely bought in that Notre Dame is elite.

Having said that, BK himself said he needed better players in order to compete. He and most of you won't say it or admit it but he needs those types of players to overcome his game preparation and game day coaching
Every coach needs that and if you don’t think that, your head is buried deep in the sand. Look at the recruiting ranking and how they coincided with national champions. How does ND do this year without your transfer portal QB and signees? How do y’all do if there is no nIL to help that roster? If there was no NIL, LSU would have several key players on that Texas defense, Moore at WR next year and etc, but this is a new world of recruiting and teams are taking advantage of it. Due to the NIL world, the talent has spread out more and teams have become more competitive. Kids want money and/or playing time so the transfer portal has allowed this. Look at Vandy, Arizona St, SMU and etc. Do you think that’s coaching or an upgrade in talent?
LSU has holes in its roster due to Coach O and Brian Kelly’s first year hires on defense. He’s corrected these issues and now look at the recruiting. Better players equal more wins, however more wins doesn’t equal national championships. We are better than we were when Kelly took the job 3 years ago but we aren’t where we need to be. This is in part due to Kelly’s mistakes and LSU’s inability to raise NIL money effectively. Both have been corrected and it shows with recruiting.
Whether we win a title or not, will not be on lack of NIL, lack of talent or lack of coaching staff. Moving forward it will fall squarely on Kelly’s shoulders.

Hardly. I read several dozen posts about Freeman vs. Kelly before I posted anything here recently.
Yeah started by some other ND idiot. I don’t know how else to say it but we don’t care about ND, or the big 10 or really any school not in the SEC ( and even then, for the other SEC fans there’s a separate board for those asshats because we don’t want them on here). Go cry on your leprechaun board with your compatriots and take some solace in the fact that you weren’t blown out as bad as most thought you would be.

As it turns out, Marcus can't win the big one either.

I like Freeman a lot. Kelly is right that Notre Dame will never get it done. Freeman will be getting it done at Ohio State if Ryan Day leaves

Finally, most ND fans are grateful BK elevated the program to a much higher level.
They must be the overwhelming silent majority because the ones that say anything online are mentally retarded. They think Freeman took over a complete shite show and magically waved a wand and boom...BK left that dude a top 5 team. Freeman didn't build a damn thing. Has he maintained it and changed the perception of ND football? Yes. But thats a personality thing and not an actual game day coaching thing. He made some absolutely boneheaded decisions last night. Just idiotic crap. And two plays changed a ton of momentum because for nearly 3 quarters it was very obvious ND wasn't anywhere close to being on the same planet as Ohio State.
