I'm a fan.
But not a fan like those weirdos on the LSU facebook groups who post shite daily like "OMG! I love LSU so much! I bleed Purple and Gold! LOL! GEAUX TIGERS!" But then bash LSU for firing O, because in reality they are a Coach O fan, not an LSU fan.

Is this thread meant to say if you are critical of something you are not a fan??
Everyone gets pissed off at something LSU wise, one way or another, doesn't mean you are not a real fan!

exactly, and that is the purpose of this board, and this board is a tiny microcosm of LSU fans and is not indicative of how the majority of LSU fans feel or view the program

Baylor grad here. I go way back to the Billy Cannon days. We moved to Lafayette in 1990 and I had season tickets on row 1 uintil we returned to Houston in 2013.
My favorite days in TS were when it was smaller, before the upper deck was added. It just seemed louder to me.
Never was fortunate enough to get tickets to any of our NC games :( but walked the streets in NOLA after those great wins.

But when it became clear that this was another inexcusable terrible year, I wanted him gone, for the health of the program.
I'll never understand why people support an individual coach over the overall football program.
I don't give a hoot who the coach is and I have no special loyalty to him. I'll a hard-arse that way, I suppose. I'll support our coach as long as he's the right answer for us. But when he proves he isn't, he needs to go.
It's how successful organizations are run.
Real simple.
