Maybe there needs to be more focus on the pitching and a little less on the magic moments

You’re right about that, it’s frustrating to watch our pitchers come in and walk so many batters. Last week they got away with it, didn’t tonight.

bringing in Schmidt a freshman who looked shaky at best last weekend was not the best decision in that spot. Yeskie and Johnson have their work cut out for them.

You have to heat-check guys. Everyone in the bullpen that pitched tonight have had just as many successful outings as they have had poor ones.

At the end the day, as much as I think Yeskie is mid, you trust the stuff.

Dude they threw there best guys today!! Today! We went to mid week guys after smitty! Jay should have never put that guy out there in that situation on the road but that right there might pay dividends at the end of the year because you will need him!

Umm ok the offense played ! The pitchers didn’t after from the 5 th on! Jay put that freshman in a high leverage spot
On the road probably shouldn’t have but but remember that because that will pay dividends at the end of the season ! Schmidt will be good!

Every year Jay and his staff do this. They throw these guys into the fire early and by the end of April they have their 3-4 go to arms ironed out.

Every year the same posters melt about it.

Yep, it’s just the same insecure people that like to tell you I told you so after 5 games. You always trust the stuff

Don’t you get pissed off every time someone squares around to bunt? Then say I told you so every time it doesn’t work? You’re one of the biggest I told you so guys on this site.

Cause you say Johnson made the wrong move but you can’t explain what the right one should have been?

Brown should start every game in RF and let Pearson platoon with Frey

We should all defer to you on this, since you’re the foremost expert on blowing things around here.

It seems just like last season we thought going in the pitching staff would be really deep and as soon as SEC play started it was obvious we didn’t have much depth at all.

I thought Pearson really hurt us tonight.

Bases loaded…pitcher on the ropes,

The only thing you can’t do is swing and whiff on 3 straight pitches….thats exactly what he did.

We needed him to at least compete in that at bat. Which he didn’t.

Then defensively in the outfield.. he punted a single that turned into a triple and started a crooked inning for Texas.

He had a rough night. He’ll bounce back. Just a bad time for him to underperform.

I already said it numerous times

Pick whoever you wanted to start the bottom of the 7th except for Cowan and Evans.

What’s so hard to understand about that ?

Noot
Benge
Ware
Primeaux
Schmidt

Fukin pick someone I don’t care it’s fukin 9 outs in a 8-2 game
