Last year pretty much sucked all around in the men's sports. When football started to go down hill, someone would ask when does baseball season start? Our basketball team was so bad we couldn't look forward to basketball season. Then our baseball team didn't turn out to great.
But this years football, basketball and baseball teams are going to be so fun to watch. So buckle up and enjoy the ride we are about to witness.

Everything looks good on paper…
We will see how it turns out.

This is what "alignment" really looks like.

What would be hilarious is if the NCAA gave us the death penalty, and we got an injunction blocking it
I mean, it feels like that's where it's all heading. Our boosters etc looked around at the piss-poor results, and what Texas Tech was trying to do to buy teams, and said frick it, if cheating and dirty politics is the new baseline we do that better than anyone.
And I don't really care that it's against the spirit of amateur athletics, that notion died a long time ago. The moment college football decided it HAD to have a playoff instead of the traditonal big bowls, it all became NFL Lite. And we're the old Raiders, Just Win Baby!

Just because fans of other teams wish we’d be punished, doesn’t mean there’s any grounds for that. We’re being aggressive and pursuing all avenues to improve our teams.
