We've been a great team the past 10 or so years. Winning it all in college football is a tall task, so a couple Nattys can suffice. We've had great teams that maybe should have produced more, but there is no doubt that LSU does produce the most NFL players. They learn to be their own man and not follow Nick Saban to hell. We're ridin next year fellas!!. You can f**kn guarantee it!

We have the unlucky experience of having Alabama(division rival) being just a little better.

the year Miles was trying to be run out by Alleva, he had to hire a DC with the looming Miles clause and still was #2 going into bama. The mistake made was changing what worked all year against arky. Then had to play 2 more games with everyone, including him thinking it was over.
Our AD failed miserably between the end of 14 and up til he had to have a come to Jesus meeting after losing to Troy.

Here's the truth.... I want to be surprised. I'm not buying into the "next year" bullshite like I used to a few years ago.
When 1-9 happened, it told me that the CFB gods had turned their back on LSU. And since then, we get our hopes up only to have them crushed. I have accepted that we are a good but not great program... and I can't wait until this team surprises me and becomes great again. Maybe that's happening right now, maybe not. If we retain Aranda and Canada for next year, it'll be a really good barometer of the team's progress, seeing how they handle a much tougher schedule...
