He played with a lot of heart and motor

Some guys suck because they don’t give the effort.

That wasn’t Collier’s problem. He always played hard.

That’s our best fielder. Was hoping he could stay and develop.

Collier could have turned into a Derek Helenihi for LSU. A serviceable but not great bat but a great fielder and a key piece on a great team.

It's all relative. Compared to our normal starting infielders this year, he was a gold glover.

In reality, his defense wasn't so amazing that it offset the lack of a bat.

He has 5 errors and an .886 FLDPCT compared to Thompson’s .894.

I mean cool. You can't tell me you watched Thompson this year and think that Cranford isn't a better fielder. The volume of plays each made plays into those numbers. And this is coming from somebody who thinks/wants Thompson at SS next season, and isn't upset one bit that Cranford is not going to be here next year.

I think people finna be pleased with Jay Johnson’s evaluations especially compared to what we’ve seen post Cannizzaro

They guy would come in for 2 innings and have an error.

Thompson was endlessly frustrating but Collier was too. And then he was better at getting hit than getting a hit.

He smoked the ball towards the end of the year, ball just didn't drop. He will be an incredible player for a mid-major team.

Lester, whats up man.

I remember JJ speaking quite highly about how he has developed as a hitter and he was very proud of him...

I wish him well, but probably best for both parties...
