Yes. Duplantis was stealing on the pitch, so first is then unoccupied. Had Duplantis not been stealing, then it would have been an auto out.

Yes if 2 outs and base is occupied you can still go to first on strike three pass ball

It's only an out if the batter is retired


Still counts as a K though

That is the dumbest rule in baseball in my opinion. Still glad it helped us get a run...

dropped 3rd strike...

with 2 outs... even though 1st base was still technically occupied the batter can advance on a dropped 3rd strike
