I know the MSB doesn't watch anymore, but it's growing everywhere else

They really, really need to expand the places they go to.

I know a lot of it is chasing the biggest games but it means going to the same places again and again

Every year at least half the slate should be more interesting places than the same 7 schools

I agree, they need to continue to try new places and experiences. Going to OSU 3 times a season gets old quick.

Can’t wait to see if McAfee will jump on the table and rip his shirt off this week!

I feel like they are attempting to do that this season. Obviously, there will be weekends when there is an obvious spot, but this year they've already been to three places they haven't been in years.

Like them or not, McAfee and Saban saved Gameday.

They aggressively try to these days.

In the 12 team playoff era they can find locations besides just Tuscaloosa and Columbus.

The crowds at the non-standard location are always much more likely because it's a big deal for those places. When game day goes to Ohio State or Alabama barely anyone cares anymore because they've been there like 50 times

Still trying to figure out what Desmond brings to the table. He never has anything noteworthy or memorable to say....he's just along for the ride it seems

In the middle of last year they started streaming Gameday free on X and other platforms. That helps set records every week

I stopped watching because of mcafee. I’ll record it when it involves LSU, and fast forward the whole show until they talk about LSU

I'm surprised he hasn't been replaced by Joey Galloway or some other black dude. He is awful

the only thing that needs to grow is the number of unique places they go, which is what the OP already hit on and I totally agree with. Everythign else needs to shrink.

-Shorter time slot (seroiusly wtf is this 3 hours?)
-Less sob stories no one GAF about
-Less staff/on air people.
-Less (zero) pat mcafee
-Less corporatization and whitewashing of the crowd

They have visited over 100 unique locations.

That's pretty good.

They will be in SLC this week. That will probably start many arguments between ute and coug fans about who had the better gameday.

My favorite was in the mid 2010s when they would bring in “QB guru” George Whitfield to hype up some mid QBs who would then go on to play like shite later in the day.
