@DellengerAdv #LSU freshman Beau Jordan (knee) will see the doctor for a checkup on Thursday. They're hoping he could return soon.

Timing is about right. Right at 4 weeks.
The good thing about the surgery he had was there's no limitations based on what's going on inside the knee. They shaved any tear so the damage is gone. It's just a matter of healing from the surgery itself. So depending on his rehab, he could be at 100% right now. Of course, that doesn't mean he's ready to play, just won't be physically limited from any activities.

Hopefully more good news. It's been about a month since he was hurt, I'm glad we're already talking about him coming back.

Per Dellenger
Random note: Multiple people saying that Greg Deichmann has been crushing the ball in BP. #LSU hopeful he can supply offense upon return.

Added the NCBWA poll to the OP making it 5 out of 6

Other than not drawing enough walks and getting caught on the base paths a little too often lately, you've got to love the Tigers' stats thus far. Typically, Mainieri's teams have improved the second half of the season. If that happens, look out come June.

We have very few steal attempts in SEC play compared to the rest of the year. Which is normal... but we are 3-9. Terrible.
