I'd say we'll pretty much hold serve in the rankings this week, a 3-1 week is generally the expectation.

i'd say so, i personally wasn't expecting a sweep of ole miss, not bc we're not good, just bc they're not a pushover by any means

I think they are going to be a pretty strong team next year, especially when Orvis is granted his 8th year of eligability.

Same here. I knew we were the better team, but I wasn't thinking sweep because Ole Miss is good enough to win one, and because sweeps are hard to come by in this league. I'm happy with winning the series.

I was thinking sweep as long as we scored enough on Friday to win, which we obviously did. Credit to Weathersby, Short, and Stokes, they completely shut us down to give their team an opportunity to win. Person and Strall did the same for us.

Just looking at the SEC Stats

Teams are 22-29 against Arkansas stealing bases this year.

Lange is 3rd in he SEC in K's but leads in K's looking.

That's interesting. He had a ton of Ks swinging Saturday.

But he had a ton in general.

Yeah he's only 2 off the SEC lead in total K's. Of course having 13 in one game will do that.

Guesses on when he moves to the #1 slot? I say the Auburn series.

Lange has a WHIP of .90 now. That's really good for a freshman who has pitched exclusively on the weekend and hasnt had the opportunity to fatten his stats against grambling and mcneese.

I think it's only a matter of time just because he's our best pitcher. Nothing against Poche at all.

If it happens, I see it after a Thursday-Saturday series. Poche gets extra rest and Lange would have a normal week off.

SEC Baseball Statistics

A stat that really blows my mind is that fact that we have only 83 K's as a team through 20 games and 708 ABs. That's about 8.53 AB/K and by far the best in the conference. The next best is Florida with 6.48 AB/K.
